Editorial process

From the first proposal to publication: clear stages and communication throughout the publishing journey.

01

Submit a proposal

02

Initial editorial assessment

The team examines scope, documentation, permissions and manuscript preparation before further assessment.

03

Academic review

Where appropriate, reviewers with subject expertise assess the work. Their reports inform the editorial decision and requested author revisions.

04

Revision and decision

Authors respond to comments and submit a revised version. Decisions are communicated through the portal and editorial notifications.

05

Editing and production

Accepted works proceed to editing, design and proof review. Publication files and bibliographic information are checked.

06

Publication and dissemination

Each book has a separate record with abstract, contributors, identifiers and available files. Metadata supports discovery by academic search engines.
