Author Guidelines

Manuscript preparation

We accept monographs, edited volumes, textbooks and research-based books. Manuscripts must be original and coherent, with title, abstract and keywords in Spanish and English.

  • Editable DOCX or ODT file.
  • Numbered tables, figures and images, including sources and permissions where required.
  • Complete and consistent references in a recognized academic style.
  • Author name, affiliation, email and ORCID when available.
  • Statements on originality, conflicts of interest and funding.

Editorial process

Proposals go through scope review, academic assessment, editorial decision, copyediting, design, proofs and publication. Authors receive updates at each stage.

Submission Preparation Checklist

Before submitting, confirm that:

  • The work is original and is not under simultaneous consideration elsewhere.
  • The file is editable and contains no hidden data that could compromise review.
  • Abstracts, keywords and contributor details are complete in Spanish and English.
  • Citations and references are verifiable and follow one consistent style.
  • Permissions for third-party material are included.
  • Funding, conflicts of interest and the use of artificial intelligence tools are disclosed where applicable.
  • All authors have approved the submission.
